Day 1 - Finding Jim - VBW2008

April 20 2008 »

Videoblogging Week 2008 has started. The goal is to produce one video a day for the next seven days. I took part in it 2 years ago and it was fun. No promises but I’m going to give it a try this year. We’ll see how it goes.

Beautifully made, David. Puts it all in perspective. *Takes deep breath*

Glad you’re in for the week. I’m already a day behind. I’ve got that strange NaVloPoMo feeling already…

Breathing tube! That’s just wrong! So wrong that I chuckled when I was sure no one else was looking…

That Slipknot gravestone is amazing, especially with your reflections. A contemplative piece.

Breathing tube. Yeah, I laughed. But it was WRONG! I still laughed. That Slipknot stone? Whoa…don’t know what to make of that…

I love cemtary walks, especially the older ones. Now I gotta hit iTunes and wiki to find out what band like Slipknot could have come out of I O Way>

It’s a well kept secret, but apparently we’re all going to end up dead. I hope they give me a breathing tube. So that I can go and haunt the hell out of anybody who sticks their finger in it.
I thought you’d be more careful after that face from beyond the grave that you filmed in that deserted house in MN.
    Expect ghoulish retribution.
I like graveyards. This is a lovely one.
Nice to have left the baby picture there.

The setup, with the quiet shots of the roads, sets a perfect mood - comfortable, melancholy, reflective. I love that we don’t know why you’re there until more than halfway through the piece. I have to watch it again.
