More flooding…
More flooding…

We are still getting massive amounts of rain here in Iowa. It feels like we can’t go more than 2 days without a siren going off. It will be nice once the threat of drowning in the middle of the street is gone.

  1. That’s a lot of rain! Does that road flood out a lot? I’m guessing the siren was a tornado warning?

Yes and yes. It was yet another tornado siren and it seems like we’ve been in a constant flood alert since the snow melted. There’s always a threat of that road flooding out. I think the only time it’s not flooded or near flooded is in the Fall!

The whirlpool was going clockwise, an amazing phenomenon that works in reverse in the southern hemisphere. 1st thing I did in Brazil was flush the toilet to watch the water spin counterclockwise.

Clintus…you would be more than welcome to our rain. I think myself and all the Cedar Rapids population would pay for the shipping to send it to ya ;)

Hah! Yes…only the water on the lake stays in one place.
