Anchors Off Air
After a long week last week, our two morning anchors, Megan and Justin got all giddy during a commercial spot while off air. I was in the editing bay watching the show and was lucky enough to pull out my camera, shoot at the monitor and catch this moment as it happened.
The people I work with are just fantastic and this video shows you how fun and good natured the people are there.

Ha that’s great, so what happens in ‘Anchorman’ isn’t that far from the truth.

lovely to see the human side of TV personalities (avoided using the word celebrity, I hate it).
I wonder though, about NDA terms or such. Out here the company would keep such tight ownership controls over their content. Does the network/affiliate not mind about this type of thing. I get the impression that things (including life in general) is much more relaxed out there. Cant tell you how appealing that sounds.
thanks for sharing

Anchors always seem so poised and serious on air. Like teachers. Nice teachers, maybe, but still teachers. And here they’re like kids - it’s great
Actually, it reminds me a little of a British TV show called Teachers, in which the teachers would all gather behind the bike shed for a smoke at breaktime. The other side that you don’t normally see. Completes the picture.

Those anchors are still pretty green when it comes to fooling around. Check out this story of Philly anchors that’s starting to get some national attention.
