After a long week last week, our two morning anchors, Megan and Justin got all giddy during a commercial spot while off air. I was in the editing bay watching the show and was lucky enough to pull out my camera, shoot at the monitor and catch this moment as it happened.

The people I work with are just fantastic and this video shows you how fun and good natured the people are there.

I had moment of free time while the morning show was on so I thought I would give you an extremely quick tour of the news station where I work.

This is in no way a full tour of the entire station and I don’t think I am giving away any insider trade secrets showing this video.

A new career opportunity presented itself over the weekend all because of this little site

We have been given notice here in Cedar Rapids that we have about a day and a half of water left before it will be gone. Without conserving the water we are using and restrict the use to consumption only, it could be sooner. Noticed this morning that our sump pump was expelling an enormous amount of water ever half hour from the basement. Hooked up the hose outside to capture that water to use for flushing the toilet and, after boiling, to wash with.
